Outings and Companionship

Stepping Out Together

Health, joy, and companionship do not only happen around a table. They can happen on a hiking trail, by a lake, along a bike path, at a concert, or on the way across the city to support someone who needs us.

Outings

More Than Going Out

Vancouver ShengMi loves stepping out together.

We hike together, go on walks together, ride bikes together, enjoy the scenery together, and attend concerts together. Some people move quickly. Some take their time. Some have plenty of energy. Some simply want to get out, breathe, and feel a little lighter.

But when we are on the same path, there is conversation, laughter, waiting, and looking out for one another.

Healthy Life

Sunlight, Air, and Real Connection

These outings are more than just having fun. They are also a natural way to live more healthily: to move our bodies, relax our minds, and reconnect with sunlight, fresh air, trees, ocean breeze, and the warmth between people.

We love Zhou Shen, and we love the gentle yet steady strength in his music. We hope to bring that same strength into everyday life: to move our bodies, experience the world fully, and cherish the people around us.

Healthy Living

Hiking, walking, biking, and letting the body move again.

Joy

Concerts, scenery, shared plans, and the laughter that happens on the road.

Companionship

Not only celebrating together, but also standing beside one another when needed.

What Stayed

Showing Up Matters

Once, we had planned to go hiking. Just before the outing, we learned that one of our members was going through a difficult and emotional moment. So we changed our plans and went across the city to be with her, listen to her, help with what was in front of her, and remind her that she was not alone.

That day, we did not complete the trip we had originally planned. But we did something more important.

This is what companionship means to Vancouver ShengMi. It is not only about being together when everything is joyful. It is also about being willing to show up, walk toward someone, and stand beside them when they need support.

Along the way, we see the world. Beside one another, we find a warmer way to live.
