Behind Every Fun Video

At many Vancouver ShengMi activities, Lily has been quietly standing behind the camera, capturing our singing, dancing, running, and smiling faces.

To record everyone better, Lily bought a gimbal. During the Sun Run, she wanted to capture our members running through the Vancouver sunshine, pairing those bright and energetic moments with Zhou Shen's song Re Lie Sheng Kai, a song full of warmth, strength, and the feeling of blooming boldly.

Xiaowen also bought a recording microphone, hoping to capture our voices more clearly and make the final videos more complete.

Creative Work

From Footage to Memory

Filming is only the first step. After the audio and video are recorded, Lily still needs to organize the footage, select the best moments, edit the scenes, and shape the rhythm of the final video.

From directing to post-production, she carries so much of the creative work on her own. Every fun finished video carries a lot of preparation, patience, teamwork, and care behind the scenes.

A Shape We Can Return To

Lily's husband also comes to help with logistics. Some people carry equipment, some help coordinate the scene, some remind everyone where to stand, and some quietly support everything behind the camera.

We have already created many fun videos together, with singing, dancing, exercise, laughter, unexpected moments, and many adorable memories that belong only to Vancouver ShengMi.

Our love for Zhou Shen brought us together. Creative filming gives these gatherings a shape we can return to.
